A member of the Legislative Committee in the People's Assembly MP Ahmed Abu Baraka told Ikhwanweb that "The verdict on the invalidity of the NDP candidate for Kafr el Sheik must be enforced and she must be excluded from the nomination list. Non-Compliance with the rules calls into question the integrity, impartiality and independence of the Committee members as refraining from implementing the provisions is a crime punishable by imprisonment and removal from office,"

He underscored that he would sue members of the committee if they failed to enforce the ruling and leave matters untouched describing  it as outrageous, undermining the Egyptian constitution and eliminating the guaranteed rights of candidates and voters
