Amnesty International slams Egypt 's authority's suppression
A new report issued by Human rights observer Amnesty International has accused the Egyptian government of continuing to abuse its authority with its renewed Emergency Law to detain political opponents and critics.

The report also slammed the Egyptian courts imposing of prison sentences through unfair military tribunals and the imposed restraints on the freedom of expression, assembly and association
 
The NGO voiced its reservations claiming  that the anticipated law against terrorism will facilitate the  state of emergency which has been in force since Mubarak's assuming of power in 1981. The report added that the MB opposition were among those highly effected stressing that the persecution and detention of brotherhood supporters remained commonplace.
