GAZA, -- The Movement of Hamas held Israel fully responsible for its brutal aggression on the Freedom Flotilla ships and the passengers aboard and described it as a new crime against humanity and the Palestinian people.

In a press release on Monday, Hamas also condemned the attack on ships as an act of piracy committed in full view of the whole world, and persistence in tightening the blockade on Gaza people.

It called on the international community and the Arab countries to denounce this crime and work on holding Israel accountable for practicing an act of piracy in international waters.

“It is shameful the world remains silent about this flagrant aggression and the unjust blockade because the continued silence is considered participation in the attack and the siege, which is a heinous crime against humanity,” Hamas underlined.
