As voting begins, MB delegates barred from polling stations

Helwan constituency in Cairo witnessed the first violations during the Shura Council elections which began todau, as Muslim Brotherhood delegates were banned from entering their polling stations, claiming their documents were not approved by police headquarters
Meanwhile, the delegates stated their documents met all the legal requirements and threatened to file complaints against those responsible.MB representative also complained that their polling station were surrounded by security agents making it difficult for voters to reach their ballot boxes. |
