Egypt temporarily opens Rafah crossing

Authorities in Egypt announced that the border crossing on the Egyptian side has decided to indefinitely open the Rafah crossing as of Tuesday.

Authorities in Egypt announced that the border crossing on the Egyptian side has decided to temorarily open the Rafah crossing as of Tuesday. Bashir Abu-Naja , Egypt 's deputy chief of border crossings confirmed that it is now possible for travelers to go to the Rafah crossing and complete their business quickly and to travel abroad. Sources asserted that it would also accept aid to the Gaza Strip.
