 The conference is scheduled to take place at the Arab Network for Human Rights (ANHRI), headquarters, two days before releasing the UN Human Rights Council’s Report on June 11

The forum consists of 16 human rights organization in Egypt, which has prepared many reports on the performance and activities of the Egyptian government. Some of these reports were discussed in the UN Human Rights Council between 19 February and 1 June 2010

The report stated that “the Egyptian government has breached many of the 119 recommendations it accepted last February, and did not take any positive actions regarding the torture issue nor had it  limited the use of Emergency law to cases of terrorism and drug trafficking"

Egypt has failed to release the prisoners of conscience who are detained because of their political activities. The government has not stopped hampering the transparency of elections with evidence of the Shura midterm elections and has continued violating human rights

The report monitored and documented the human rights violations over the last 100 days commencing with the Egyptian governments submission to the report and the launching of the final report of the UN Security Council, which will take place on 11^th June 2010
