A French court ruled in favour of a Muslim student who filed a lawsuit after being expelled from a training centre in Paris for wearing the hijab

The computer science student was expelled from school after refusing to remove her hijab. She filed the lawsuit accusing the center of  discrimination, which she later won.


In a related development, authorities in Belgium dismissed public school Muslim teacher in the South region after she insisted on wearing the hijab.
