ANKARA, -- Ahmet Davutoglu, the Turkish foreign minister, told a press conference in Ankara on Monday that his country does not trust the Israeli internal probe committee into the Freedom Flotilla massacre last month.

He said that Ankara was distrustful that Israel, which launched the attack on a civilian convoy in international waters, would conduct a neutral investigation.

Any investigation launched unilaterally by Israel would not be of any value, the minister said, adding that Ankara is insistent that the UN should directly supervise any such investigation committee with the participation of Turkey and Israel.

Turkey will be entitled to re-consider its relations with Israel and impose unilateral sanctions in the event its repeated demands for an international investigative committee are ignored.

Ankara is impatiently waiting for the world community to adopt objective procedures in this issue, Davutoglu said, adding that participation of two foreigners in the Israeli committee did not grant it an international feature.
