The European Parliament is, scheduled to vote on a drafted resolution condemning the Israeli military massacre, on international peace activists who were on board the "Freedom Flotilla" carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

The members of the European Parliament called for necessary action to ensure no further attacks would take place. They urged for immediate transparent and impartial investigations demanding the European Union's readiness to play a role in the control of the crossings with Gaza.The members also called for a European plan aimed at ending the siege and opening the crossings, including naval passage with Gaza and a European political role in the Middle East to achieve peace and security in the region.
