The delegates are expected to meet with deputies of the Hamas-affiliated change and reform parliamentary bloc and Palestinian government in Gaza.

Palestinian sources said that the parliamentarians would lay down the foundation stone of a hospital in Gaza and would tour the areas devastated by the Israeli war on the Strip 18 months ago.

The delegation is the fourth parliamentary team to arrive in Gaza since Israel tightened the siege on the coastal enclave in summer 2007.
