The mother of the prisoner told Wa'ed society for prisoners' affairs that her son was threatened in a court hearing with deportation to Egypt because he carries an Egyptian travel document.

She said that her son was detained on 12/2/2000 and was sentenced to ten years during which he was transferred from one jail to another and suffered a lot.

The mother pointed out that she is also deprived of visiting her son similar to all Gaza inhabitants.

She appealed to the Red Cross and human rights groups to intervene and prevent the IOA deportation of her son.
