The MB defense lawyer Khalaf Bayoumi from Alexandria maintained that he would appeal the bail decision describing it as odd and unconstitutional.

A court order was announced  in Alexandria ordering the detention of 15 members of the Muslim Brotherhood for promoting the MB petition calling for 7 demands for reform, Prosecutors in Alexandria decided to release 9 members of the MB who participated in promoting the petition. Ahmed Khalil and Hassan Bekheit, were ordered to pay  bail amounting to 10,000 LE

In a related issue, prosecutors in Minia Albasal decided to release 7 other detainees who were arrested for their involvement in the campaign.
