Security forces in Egypt have turned the Zagazig University campus into a military barracks after surrounding demonstrators. Forces were spread on all sides of the University buildings, and police vehicles were positioned in anticipation of impending protests expected take place on the University grounds by Muslim Brotherhood students calling for the release of their colleague who was kidnapped by security forces yesterday. On Sunday evening, a guard at Zagazig University seized Ahmed Massad a 2nd year medical student as he was entering the campus. Forces confiscated a bag he had with him which included greeting cards welcoming his fellow students.
