Another dawn and another bout of MB arrests
As dawn breaks Egypt 's MB faced further crackdowns as security forces raided and ransacked the houses of 3 MB leaders in Sharqiya and four in Qalyubiya.

As dawn breaks Egypt 's MB faced further crackdowns as security forces raided and ransacked the houses of 3 MB leaders in Sharqiya and four in Qalyubiya.
The aggressive clampdown indicates the regime's inability to face honest and honourable competition. Since the group's chairman Dr. Mohamed Badie's announcement that the group will take part in the elections in November the Interior Ministry has given the green light to the security services to raid and search businesses, homes and companies of MB members nationwide arresting them and closing their businesses while confiscating personal belongings including computers and documents.
Despite threats and pressure by the system on the group to avoid participating in the elections members have confirmed they will not be deterred and will continue on their path. |
