Despite intentions to sabotage the Muslim Brotherhood’s participation in the political process the group has succeeded in handing in 133 applications, in which 14 belong to women nominees on day three of accepting registrations for the parliamentary elections.

Despite intentions to sabotage the Muslim Brotherhood’s participation in the political process the group has succeeded in handing in 133 applications, in which 14 belong to women nominees in day three of accepting registrations for the parliamentary elections.
 
Eleven could be candidates however are expecting their papers to be reviewed.

The procedures however did not pass without hitches and many protests and clashes took place outside the registration offices in numerous constituencies demonstrating the regime's obstinacy and intentions to monopolize the political arena.
