Despite repeated calls and appeals by international and domestic human rights organizations to end the arbitrary arrests of Egypt's political opposition Security personnel embarked again on their unjustified arrests.

Despite repeated calls and appeals by international and domestic human rights organizations to end the arbitrary arrests of Egypt's political opposition, security forces have once again embarked on their unjustified arrests in the governorate of Gharbiya at dawn, and Beni Suef and Daqahliya is witnessing the arrests of MB supporters.
 
Forces arrested Hossam Zayed, managing director of current MB MP candidate for Tanta, Sayed Askar.
 
Hisham Khashab was also arrested while hanging posters for MB candidates in the streets of Tanta just hours after the official announcement of the start of election campaigns.

On Sunday evening, security forces also abducted 4 supporters of MB candidate, Dr Emad Shams.

The detainees include Mohamed Salama, Fathi Abdel Salam, Shawki Fuda and Mohamed Abd El-Fatah.
