Security forces in Kafr el-Sheikh clashed with supporters in a rally advocating Muslim Brotherhood candidates in the lead to the country's parliamentary elections.

Human rights activists have labeled the attacks on electoral campaigns in Egypt as violating freedom, stressing that the ruling regime has failed to demonstrate integrity during the elections or to follow through with promises made by NDP officials.

Witnesses have reported that people are being injured as a result of the clashes
