POMED director denies US meddling in Egypt’s affairs
In a recent statement POMED’s director Stephen McInerney, emphasized that it was imperative that the US continue to persuade Egypt to run transparent elections. He pointed to the significance of economic and military aid, diplomatic incentives and US investment in Egypt.
