State Security forces engaged in mass arrests of Muslim Brotherhood representatives in Beni Suef demonstrating continued repression. Officials were given access to the representatives detailed information and began a frenzied campaign arresting large numbers ahead of the polls. Mohamed Abdullah Tolba Deputy Director of MP Dr. Hamdy Zahran’s office was among those arrested. |
