 GAZA, -- Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya has sent messages to Arab and international parties in a bid to thwart Israeli attempts to justify new aggressions on the Gaza Strip.

Dr. Yousef Rezka, the political advisor to Haneyya, said in an article published on Friday that Haneyya addressed messages to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Arab League Secretary General Amr Mousa, and Egyptian intelligence chief Omar Suleiman.

He added that Haneyya called for an international and Arab position against the Israeli escalation policy that aims at destabilizing the region and ending the state of calm.

The premier disclosed an Israeli plot to deceive the western public opinion, the American in particular, into believing that Al-Qaeda was present in Gaza in a bid to find excuses to attack Gaza and escalate assassinations while guaranteeing silence of the world community.

The message to Ban Ki-moon included regret and concern over his and the international organization's silence toward Israel's repeated extra judicial assassination operations in the Gaza Strip.

It stressed that Palestinian resistance does not operate outside Palestine borders and what Israel claims of intelligence countering such strategy were null and void and only aimed at involving Egypt in those assassination crimes.

Rezka said that the messages at this particular timing targeted exposing the Israeli security and media schemes and drawing the world's attention to its duties.
