The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and Al-Wafd Party are going to submit two complaints to the Attorney General on the violations that took place during the elections such as “Fraud, abuse, bullying by the National Ruling Party (NDP) and their supporters and by some policemen against voters.”

This will be submitted to the legal committees of the MB and Al-Wafd party at the conclusion of the documentation of violations. Abdel Monem Abdel Maqsoud, MB lawyer, stated that the MB legal committees are preparing a file on the “fraud committed by the NDP and their supporters and the abuses of policemen against voters during Election Day through pictures, videos and documented evidence” and will submit it to the Attorney General because “fraud is a crime punishable by law.”

He also stated that the MB will not complain to the High Elections Committee because it does nothing.
