The families of the six Palestinian detainees who went on hunger strike in Jericho prison said the Palestinian authority (PA) and its security militias transferred their isolated sons from this jail to other prisons in different West Bank areas after their health started to deteriorate very badly.

The administration of Jericho prison transferred Majd Obeid to Juneid prison in Nablus, Ahmed Al-Aweiwi to the intelligence jail in Qalqiliya, Muhannad Nairoukh to the intelligence jail in Jenin, Wael Al-Bitar to the intelligence jail in Tulkarem and Mohamed Sukiya to the intelligence jail in Bethlehem, while it kept Wisam Al-Qawasmi in the same prison, according to a press release issued by the families' committee on Sunday.

The committee emphasized that the six detainees are determined to continue their hunger strike, despite all attempt to dissuade them from this step, until they are released or die.

It noted that the health conditions of these detainees are getting worse and there is a real danger threatening their lives, especially prisoner Nairoukh who was admitted to a hospital in Jenin.

The committee, on behalf of the families, invited all media outlets to cover the protest steps it will organize in the coming days and the vigil that will be held today at 10:30 pm outside the Red Cross headquarters in Al-Khalil city.

In a separate incident, the PA security militias kidnapped four Palestinian citizens affiliated with Hamas Movement in the cities of Bethlehem and Al-Khalil, according to local sources on Sunday.
