Dr. Mahmoud Hussein Secretary General for the Muslim Brotherhood has confirmed that after contemplation and discussion following round one of the Egypt's parliamentary poll held on Sunday November 28 the group's Shura Council made a firm decision to boycott the runoff held December 5 on account of much rigging.

The boycott came in protest to the methods and tactics used in the ballot with the regime's insistence of rigging the nation's will and robbing the people from their most basic and constitutional rights of choosing freely their representatives and leaders.

On this note the MB confirms that regardless of allegations they do not have any representative in the new 2010-2015 parliament. Aparliament in which the group renders invalid.
