Former MP, Mohamed El-Beltagy, and representative of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) in the new parallel parliament, has noted that the Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) between senior figures of the National Association for Change (NAC) and 118 former MPs of the Shadow Parliament will hold, on Sunday, a lengthy meeting to discuss details of the new parallel popular parliament, in preparation to complete details of its internal regulations.

In a statement to al-Youm al-Saba'a, El-Beltagy maintained that the founder of the liberal Ghad party, Dr. Ayman Nour, suggested that a standing order has not been agreed upon so far, to be presented during the next plenary meeting to reach a final view agreed upon by all the national political powers.

The NAC formed a coordinating committee to discuss all the details and to develop the final bylaws of an opposition-free parliament in conjunction with more than 110 former MPs who ran in the November 28 election and lost.

The Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) consists of key figures affiliated to the NAC and representatives of MP's, namely: Dr. Ayman Nour, MP Hamdeen Sabahi, Abul-Ezz Al Hariri, Gamila Ismail, Mustafa Bakry, Saad Abboud, and Alaa Abdel Moneim. Former MP, Mohammed El-Beltagy, will be a representative of both fronts in a bid to establish a unified parliament.
