Dr. Mohamed El-Baradei, former director general of the International Agency for Atomic Energy, and Chairman of the National Association for Change (NAC), continued to express his views on ways of bringing political reform and change to Egypt through posting messages from his account on social networks.

El-Baradei quoted a saying from his father, Mustafa El-Baradei, former president of lawyers, and published it on his “Twitter” account, in which his father said: “The country is burning, and the disaster can only be avoided by guarantees of freedom to all people. People are the best guarantee which would impose the path they choose."

During the meeting, El-Baradei said that he will not give up his responsibility in the issue of bringing change to Egypt “on the condition that he has the people’s support and sympathy”. He pointed out that the current trend of change has “succeeded in winning people’s sympathy, except those who are benefiting from the system.”  He stressed that if he were to go to the streets and there were no security around, it is likely that he will find that 90% of people want change.
