Dr. Ayman Nour, leader of Egypt's Al-Ghad Party, believes that President Hosni Mubarak's negligence to the opposition’s demands for dissolving the new parliament will close peaceful paths to change, adding that change will come, even if people do so through violent means, noting that this is completely rejected by the national political powers.
 
Ayman Nour blamedPresident Mubarak for the government crackdowns and irregularities that took place during the parliamentary elections as the leader of the National Democratic Party (NDP), in reference to the ballot-stuffing and fraud in favour of NDP candidates. "It is very unlikely that Mubarak will admit to voter fraud, therefore, he must bear the responsibility for what may happen during the next stage." Al-Ghad's leader said.
 
He added: "We are part of the National Association for change (NAC) and inside the party we are currently studying new methods for the coming period, including a parallel parliament and every imaginable way even if we have been forced to internationalize the vote-rigging that took place during the parliamentary elections."
