Egypt’s Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif addressed the people during a special television program entitled "A Special Meeting."

Nazif emphasized that both Egypt’s majority and minority was safe and that the government is able to protect its citizens equally.  He rejected vehemently outside interference in Egypt's domestic affairs, pointing out that Egypt has previously overcome all other crises in the past demonstrating denial to the regime’s inability to protect its people.

During his speech the PM touched on many subjects, including the recently held parliamentary elections, the upcoming presidential elections, the global financial crisis and Egypt's financial future.
