An Alexandria court ruled in favour of 14 Muslim Brotherhood members who were accused of using the religious motto “Islam is the solution” during the 2010 parliamentary elections.

Police had arrested Amr El-Masry, Moaz Ezzat, Ibrahim El-Alfy and Abdul Rahman El-Rifai, in Alexandria with others for handing out pamphlets, stickers and leaflets supporting MB candidate Bushra El-Samny, who was running for the women's quota.
