Muslim Scholar Qaradawi Tells Youths to Value Their Lives
Qaradawi argues that it is the Tyrants Who Should Burn
Dr. Yusuf al-Qaradawi, President of the International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS, appealed to young Arab and Muslim youths to take care of their lives, stressing it is the tyrants who should burn.

Dr. Yusuf al-Qaradawi, President of the International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS, appealed to young Arab and Muslim youths to take care of their lives, stressing it is the tyrants who should burn.
 
In his statement, al-Qaradawi said: "I appeal to all youths who set themselves on fire in Egypt, Algeria and Mauritania indignant at the present, careless of the future, to never give up hope in Allah's Soothing Mercy: truly no one despairs of Allah's Soothing Mercy, except those who have no faith." So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief. Be aware after the dark night always comes the dawn and the darkest hour is just before the dawn.”
 
He added: "Dear young men, take care of your life because it is a great bounty from Allah and do not set yourself on fire as it is the tyrants who should burn. Be patient, endure and be steadfast. Tomorrow will come soon enough."
 
He continued: "Islam has means urging to fight against oppression and tyranny and this means suicide is not necessary."
 
Al-Qaradawi also argued asserted that the young Tunisian Mohammed Bouazizi, was the hero who sparked the Jasmine Revolution and changed Tunisia's history.
