Egyptians from all walks of life filled central Cairo’s Tahrir Square, young and old, rich and poor, a vast swathe of society, have decided to honor the martyrs of the January 25th uprising Sunday afternoon amid claims that they will change Tahrir Square to Martyrs Square.
Invitations were extended to martyrs' families to attend the ceremony honoring their sons, followed by prayers for the souls of the dead protestors as confirmed by an anti-government protester at Tahrir Square.
During a meeting held at the headquarters of the Free Republican Party, a number of political parties, including the People's Party, Free Republican and Liberal Party hailed thousands of defenders who risked lifes and limbs for two days. They united with their demand that they reject "foreign interference" in Egypt's domestic affairs.
