A new law has been passed Wednesday, by the Egyptian government deeming all protests and strikes illegal.

A new law has been passed Wednesday, by the Egyptian government deeming all protests and strikes illegal.

According to the new law, any individuals organizing or calling for protests will be sentenced to jail and may also be fined up to 500,000 pounds.

 The new law is expected to be applied to anyone inciting, urging, promoting or participating in a protest or strike which could hamper or delay work at any private or public establishments.

The Council of Ministers has stated that as long as the State of emergency is present the new law will be enforced.

"The new law will apply to anyone inciting, urging, promoting or participating in a protest or strike that hampers or delays work at any private or public establishments." The only entity hampering and delaying public and private work in Egypt is the military council iteself. There's no constitution, so any political progress is illegitimate. MB appears to be quite OK with the military council (zionist) dictations.
