Realizing the publics’ demand an Egyptian court has ordered the dissolving of Egypt’s former ruling National Democratic Party. The court also ordered the confiscation of its assets, in accordance to the protest movement that succeeded in ousting President Mubarak. The verdict announced on Saturday by the Supreme Administrative Court ordered the disbanding after lawyers raised a lawsuit demanding its dissolution, and accusing the party of corruption. The order which follows latest conciliations by the military rulers to demonstrators’ demands comes days after the ousted Mubarak and his sons Gamal and Alaa were placed under detention for investigation following accusations of corruption and inciting the killing of protesters. |
