A host of Egyptian actors and sport celebrities attended a concert organized by the Muslim Brotherhood in Alexandria on Friday.

The concert included speeches and performances by several Egyptian celeberities, and a first time performance by the MB chorus, which was received well. The unprecedented event gave the opportunity for movie and sports stars to illustrate their solidarity with the MB’s call for building the nation and overcoming their differences.

The event was initiated in an attempt to illustrate that unity and being proactive will prevail so long as people put forward Egypt’s wellbeing before their personal needs. Celebrities highlighted that the revolution will truly be successful once its seeds are sown, asserting that this could be done through the development of Egypt via economic, political and social progress.

They noted that welcoming back tourism would contribute largely to Egypt’s economy, claiming that each and every individual was obliged to protect the revolution by doing whatever could be done to revive and restore Egypt’s glory.
