Egyptian partisan figures welcomed the establishment of the MB’s “Freedom and Justice Party” (FJP) as an important addition to the political life in Egypt. They stressed the importance of the party’s commitment to the principles of democracy, freedom, equality, and political and social justice and to work for the best interests of Egypt.

Bahaa Abu Shaqa from Al-Wafd party welcomed the FJP, stressing that it will be supported by all national forces.

He called on the party to adhere to democracy and accept 'the other'. He also called for the rotation of power and working with all parties to bring about democracy and the interests of Egypt.

Magdy Karkar from the Labor Party congratulated the MB on the formation of their party after being denied the opportunity of forming their own party for a long time. He added that the party is a new and important addition to the reality of tyrannical policies which took place for many years, stressing that the vision of the FJP is very close of the Labor party and its leaders are experienced in politics and parliament.

He stressed that the FJP could be the largest party in the political arena which will make it a responsibility to unite all the parties and work together as the FJP cannot work alone.

Saad Aboud from Al-Karama party said that the FJP is predicted to be a large party as the MB is very popular in the streets. He called on the party not to adopt a policy of exclusion and to do their best for Egypt, to rotate power, and advocate freedom, democracy, dignity and justice, to keep the people united, and protect the human rights of all people without exception.
