Activists on the social networking site, Facebook have launched a page titled “One Million signatures for Elections first”. The page backs the model of transition as voted upon, namely that parliamentary elections should take place in September as scheduled before placing constitutional amendments. In an attempt to educate the public, articles and videos have been posted on the FB page clarifying the advantages of holding the elections as planned.

Egyptians went to the ballot boxes in March and voted in favour of the referendum. Activists have also created several other pages supporting the same goal.
