Political Education Workshop at Cairo University
The Renaissance Center for Training and Development and the Forum of International Law, affiliated to the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University, are organizing an intensive course in political education on Saturdays, Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week at FEPS’s building, Cairo University.

The Renaissance Center for Training and Development in collaboration with the Forum for International Law, affiliated with the Faculty of Economics and Political Science (FEPS) at Cairo University, are organizing an intensive workshop in political education and awareness next Saturday through Thursday at FEPS’s building, Cairo University.

Mr. Ala Zazoae, media spokesman for the Renaissance Center, said that the sessions, which begin on Saturday, July 23, 2011, will last for four days, presenting intensive lectures and discussions about the current political issues by senior political science professors

He said that this training will seek to educate the participants in the political affairs of Egypt, adding that the course will include lectures on the map of Islamic movements in Egypt, the nature of the Islamist project, elements of the contemporary political system, the identification of the most elementary political forces in Egypt and their development and also the relationship between the political and the economic spheres.

Zazoae pointed out that the sessions will end with an extended discussion about the change in Egyptian relations with the outside world after the January 25th Revolution, as well as the main features and the scope of the change regarding those relations.

He called the people who are interested in political affairs to take advantage of these sessions, especially as the lecturers are senior professors of political science in Egypt, such as Dr. Mohamed Shawky Abdel Aal, director of the International Law Forum, Dr. Saif Abdel-Fattah, Dr. Hamid Abdul-Majid, Dr. Saleh El-Sheikh, Dr. Mohamed Salman and others.

Regarding how to participate in the course, Zazoae said that the number of places is limited, but there are still places available, and anyone who is interested can contact him personally or through the email of the center.
