Cairo Center for Development has held the second training workshop on political education for parties' youth in 30-29 July 2011.The training targeted parties' youth in Al Fayoum.

Cairo Center for Development has held the second training workshop on political education for parties' youth in 30-29 July 2011. The training targeted parties' youth in Al Fayoum. The training aimed at educating the trainees and raising their awareness and makes them more interactive in this field. This comes as one of the most important programs of the center after 25th January revolution. The training has been held with 50% female youth and 50% male youth this is to take into account the inclusion of gender issues.

The workshop covered some topics during two days as follows:

The first day: democracy and the foundations of good governance and international charters and conventions on human rights.

The Second day: the law of political exercise and its amendments and political participation in general and for women in particular and the constraints and reasons. 

It is worth mentioning that the workshop is held within a series of training workshops for political awareness for youth of political parties. These activities are being implemented in cooperation with Open Society Institute Foundation.
