Dr.Yasser Ali, Media Coordinator for the Democratic Alliance in eastern Cairo, asserted that that the youth groups that work to facilitate the electoral process by guiding citizens to their respective election committees and ballot boxes operate in the context of co-operation by the coalition to support the smooth management of the electoral process.

The Media Coordinator denies, on behalf of the Democratic Alliance, all rumours that suggest there was political ‘guidance’ or support for any political faction or party.

Dr. Yasser Ali stressed that such co-operation is essential for successful management of the electoral process, calling on the media to investigate the accuracy of news before publishing them.
