FJP: Opponents Using Their Satellite Channels in Smear Campaign

Mokhtar Al-Ashry Head of the Freedom and Justice Party’s (FJP) Legal Committee stated, that there is an organized media campaign by satellite channels owned by businessmen running against FJP candidates to negatively influence voters especially in raising issues concerning electoral campaigning.

 Mokhtar Al-Ashry Head of the Freedom and Justice Party’s (FJP) Legal Committee stated, that there is an organized media campaign by satellite channels owned by businessmen running against FJP candidates to negatively influence voters especially in raising issues concerning electoral campaigning. 

Speaking to Ikhwanweb he stated: “The media has failed to mention campaigning made by some parties inside polling stations and outside schools using loudspeakers in Cairo, however, was quick to focus on any incident by the FJP”.

He added: “The FJP has been clear issuing directions to its members to respect the law and not hand out candidate pamphlets outside polls and there have been no reported incidents”.
