A number of young people angry with the Military Council (SCAF) vented their frustration at the Muslim Brotherhood-run stage in Tahrir Square on today's Friday of Dignity marking the anniversary of last year's Friday of Anger, amid calls by the MB to demonstrate restraint and to abstain from inciting clashes.

Failing to respond to the calls, the youths threw empty bottles at the MB stage shouting against them as disappointed protesters looked on.

Freedom and Justice Party's MP Dr. Mohamed Beltagy and MP Mohamed Abdul Monem Al-Sawy from Alhadara Party along with leader of the April 6 Movement Ahmed Maher, attempted to calm the angry mob with cries of 'One Hand', in a bid to end the provocative chants.

According to Mohamed Hassan from the MB who spoke to Ikhwanweb: "This incident does not reflect the revolution's spirit and morals. We will not stoop to this level and respond tit for tat. It is significant that all factions unite in working towards accomplishing the rest of the revolution's demands and not be caught up in meaningless clashes".
