Dr. Mahmoud Ghozlan, Official Spokesman of the Muslim Brotherhood, expressed surprise at rumors that the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) is to form a new government within hours without consulting with the parliamentary majority.

In a statement to Ikhwanweb, Dr. Ghozlan said: “What use is a limited reshuffle or change?  What good can Egypt gain, if SCAF changes one or two ministers?”

The Brotherhood’s official spokesman described SCAF’s latest maneuver, which comes after parliament suspended all sessions for a whole week, as an attempt to absorb the wrath of the Egyptian Parliament and the people demanding the departure of this government which has caused many of the problems experienced by Egypt recently.

Dr. Ghozlan concluded, "This maneuver is tantamount to simply keeping things as they are".
