MP Hussein Ibrahim, majority leader at the Egyptian People's Assembly and leader of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP)’s parliamentary bloc, said that none of the members of the FJP parliamentary commission has proposed a draft law to amend the provisions of the Supreme Constitutional Court law.

The FJP lawmaker asserted that indeed two parliamentary colleagues, from the Nour Party, did submit these amendments.

Ibrahim further explained that the FJP parliamentary commission, which represents the majority at the People's Assembly, does not welcome any amendments on the provisions of the Supreme Constitutional Court or any other law, at this time.
