Muslim Brotherhood to Join Nationwide Protests against Shocking Verdicts in Mubarak Trial

Dr. Mahmoud Ghozlan, member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Guidance Bureau and media spokesman for the organization, affirmed that the Brotherhood will participate in demonstrations, with all the movements, sects and denominations of the Egyptian people, against the absurd and shocking verdict pronounced in the case against the killers of the martyrs of the January 25 revolution.

“The Muslim Brotherhood expresses sincere sympathy and full solidarity to the families of the revolution’s martyrs.”

His comments came in response to a question from reporters about the Brotherhood's possible participation in demonstrations being organized against the ruling in question.

Dr. Ghozlan added, "We are shocked and baffled at this ruling that cleared the defunct regime’s police commanders, put to waste the pure blood of honorable martyrs, hindered the establishment of truth and justice, and protected murderers and criminals from punishment".
