Dr. Mohamed Morsi’s campaign reaffirms the truth and accuracy of the results it announced proving the victory of our candidate, based on official final count records from individual polling stations all over Egypt, of which we have full formally-endorsed copies carrying signatures of judges supervising the voting process. These are final figures, not guesses or estimates, and will be made available to all. According to the latest figures received from our representatives in all the voting sites across Egypt (exactly 13,099 sites), our candidate Dr. Morsi won 13,242,657 votes, i.e. 52%, while General Ahmed Shafiq won 12,353,822 votes, i.e. 48%.
The number of valid votes is 25,596,479 out of 50,524,939 total registered voters in the electoral rolls. That is 51.07% voter turnout.
