Freedom and Justice Party: MPs’ Views Do Not Reflect Party nor Presidential Institution
Freedom and Justice party leader Osama Yassin affirms that personal views expressed by individual lawmakers do not necessarily reflect the party or the presidential institution’s official vision or discourse.

Dr. Osama Yassin, Assistant Secretary-General of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), asserted that all statements issued by party members or MP’s of the People’s Assembly or the Shura Council (the two houses of Egyptian parliament), in respect of the program of the President of the Republic or the formation of the presidential institution, are merely personal views that do not reflect the official position of the FJP or the President of Egypt.

Dr. Yassin stressed that the FJP’s Executive Office is the entity authorized to issue official statements that reflect the position of the FJP, and the Presidency of the Republic is the authority that speaks on behalf of the President.
