Erian: Freedom and Justice Party Sets Final Date to Elect Chairman Saturday
Since his victory in the presidential elections in Egypt, Mohamed Morsi left his post as head of the Freedom and Justice Party, the Muslim Brotherhood’s political wing, to become truly the President of all Egyptians.

Dr. Essam El-Erian, acting-Chairman of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), affirmed that the party’s National Committee is the competent authority to set the date for the FJP’s upcoming general conference. In a statement, Dr. Erian pointed that the FJP’s National Committee will hold a meeting, Saturday, to set the final date for the general conference, which will witness the election of a new FJP chief, after the resignation of Dr. Mohamed Morsi, following his presidential election win a few months ago. |
