Justice Walid Sharabi, spokesman for the ‘Coalition of Judges for Egypt’, praised President Morsi’s resolutions Thursday evening, particularly the dismissal of the Public Prosecutor, who put to waste the pure blood of honorable martyrs and declared innocent killers of unarmed revolutionaries.

In a telephone call to Al-Jazeera Mubasher (Live)-Egypt satellite TV channel, Sharabi said "President Morsi’s decrees are fully in favor of the Egyptian revolution’s goals. They are perfectly legal, because the President now has legislative authority.

Furthermore, this is a serious step towards the independence of the judiciary.

"Mohamed Morsi is the President of revolutionary Egypt. Thus, his decisions, resolutions and decrees favor the revolution.

Meanwhile, Abdel-Meguid Mahmoud, the Public Prosecutor, has long defended the toppled regime, sought to corrupt the judiciary and to create a justice system rotten to the core."

Sharabi pointed that Egypt's judges would not support the dismissed Public Prosecutor, "Any move against the President’s Decrees will not work, because they are legally privileged. Justice Talaat Ibrahim has become the first Public Prosecutor who reflects the Egyptian revolution."
