Freedom and Justice Party’s National Committee Elects Secretary-General Today
The Muslim Brotherhood’s political wing, the FJP, in a regular meeting of its National Committee Thursday, conducts elections to choose the party’s new secretary-general.

The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP)’s National Committee convenes a regular meeting Thursday. The meeting agenda includes: election of the FJP Secretary-General, election of central committee secretaries, discussion of the FJP business strategy, debate of parliamentary elections coordination and alliances for the next few months, and the adoption of the FJP legislative agenda to be submitted to Shura Council at a later date.
The FJP National Committee, at its meeting, will open the window of nomination for the position of Secretary-General, and start the voting process.
The FJP invites all local, national and international media to participate in the coverage of election activities of the Secretary-General at 5PM local time (3PM GMT) at the party's headquarters in Mansour Street – downtown Cairo.
