Tosson: All Electoral Law Proposals and Suggestions Will Be Carefully Studied
Egypt’s Shura Council Legislative Committee chief assures that all suggestions for the new House of Representative elections law and the law of political rights will be taken into consideration.

MP Mohamed Tosson, Chairman of the Legislative Committee of Egypt’s Shura Council (upper house of parliament) reaffirmed that he submitted a request to Dr. Ahmed Fahmi, Shura Council Speaker, to give the Committee sufficient time to study the new law of House of Representatives elections and the law of political rights (disenfranchisement). Mohamed Tosson said: "I assure everyone that all suggestions and proposals on the new laws will be carefully studied and taken into consideration". |
