In a post on his Facebook page, Hussein Ibrahim, Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) Secretary-General, said: "The FJP and its various secretariats are stepping up their efforts to ensure a decent, dignified life for all Egyptians. "Egypt is now suffering severe hardship as a result of the accumulation of corruption over long decades, witnessed in total lack of investment in human resources, massive neglect of the country’s vital installations and infrastructure, and squandering of state assets in the name of privatization – for the benefit of a handful of corrupt cronies and affiliated businessmen." In conclusion, Ibrahim said: "We desperately need to cooperate and unite, in order to build the institutions of the new State and the removal of accumulated corruption". |
